Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification Information

CLASSES OFFERED

We offer an American Heart Association (AHA) healthcare provider CPR certification class designed for emergency medical technicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, although anyone may attend.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS

• Participants are required to purchase the AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual prior to class. This text can be found online at: http://aha.channing-bete.com/ or http://www.laerdal.com/ or from Amazon
• In addition, we also offer our own GWGVFD Study Guide Sheet for CPR. Click here to download GWGVFD CPR Study Guide

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

Classes are taught by apointment only. To request a class, please complete the online CPR Registration Form or e-mail cpr@gwgvfd.org.

CLASS LOCATION

Classes take place in the basement of old station 8 at 13 East Diamond Avenue, in Old Towne, Gaithersburg, MD. Entrance to the basement is down the exterior stairs on the right side of the building. Parking is available in lots on either side of the building.

PAYMENT

The Healthcare Provider course costs $75 per person. Payment must be made prior to the date of the scheduled class. Payment can be made using the following methods:

1. Paypal (please bring a copy of your reservation payment e-mail with you to class.)

2. Cash received before scheduled class date (exact change, please)

3. A check received before scheduled class date (payable to GWGVFD Firemen's Fund)
