FUN AND FIRE SAFETY HIGHLIGHT GWGVFD OPEN HOUSE


(Gaithersburg) – Fire safety demonstrations and fire engine rides will highlight this year’s Open House at the Gaithersburg – Washington Grove Volunteer Fire Department.

Plan to stop by Fire Station #8, 801 Russell Avenue, (on Montgomery Village Avenue opposite Lakeforest Mall), on Sunday, October 10th, between noon and 4:00 p.m. to take part.

The GWGVFD’s Aerial Tower 8 will be on display, along with fire engines, ambulances, a heavy-duty rescue squad and the Montgomery County bomb unit. There will be firefighting demonstrations and fire safety information, plus a slide for the kids and rides one of our fire engines.
