The members of the Gaithersburg Washington Grove Volunteer Fire Department wish to thank you for all of your support through the year. We hope you can find room to donate toward your local fire and rescue department in Gaithersburg.

One hundred percent of your donation is used in our community and supports activities, such as the purchase of vehicles, fire station remodeling, and other fire equipment purchasing that is not funded by other means.

Prior donations made by the citizens of Gaithersburg and beyond have enabled us to purchase an Ambulance, Canteen vehicle, Fire Safety House, ATV with trailer, and Bicycles. The Canteen is used on major incidents where volunteers provide food and hydration to fire rescue personnel. Our bike team provides EMS care to citizens at large gatherings such as fairs, parades, and other functions where vehicle traffic is limited. Our ATV is used on off-road incidents to transport patients to the ambulance for further evaluation and transport to a local hospital.

Our volunteers perform many other essential functions including maintenance to the stations and equipment, training, continuing education, fire prevention and various other community activities. Your donation is tax deductible as we are a 501 (C) 3 charitable organization.
