GWGVFD’s Skidmore Delivers Baby at Station 8

Spring is always a season for new things. Flowers bloom, fresh paint is applied, and once an a while a baby is born at a fire station. In the words of a Montgomery Village mother, “…it was something that happens on a sitcom…not in real life.”

Firefighter Michael Skidmore delivered a baby on the front driveway of Station 8 in the pre-dawn hours of Thursday, May 27.

We thank Firefighter Skidmore (and all the men and women of GWGVFD) for their continued outstanding service and dedication in the face of “unique” challenges.
